The original BB crew all lived in Brighton, MA and were in-between bands, so we started an Afrobeat Project - who would have known that years later it would be going strong and we would have built such a family!

Antibalas, Who Is This America?
Medeski, Martin & Wood, Uninvisible
This is the seminal Fela Kuti experience, he is the master and creator of Afrobeat. Who Is This America is Antibalas in their prime, carrying the torch of political Afrobeat. Lastly the groove legends MMW and their finest record IMHO.
