About Pinkish Black
Borrowing from post-rock, doom metal, synthwave, industrial, and psychedelic influences, Pinkish Black are a Fort Worth, Texas-based experimental rock duo featuring former members of the Great Tyrant. They released their harrowing eponymous debut album in 2012, landing them on Century Media for their doomy sophomore effort, 2013's Razed to the Ground. Pinkish Black relocated to Relapse for album number three, the mercurial Bottom of the Morning, which invoked names like Goblin, John Carpenter, and Tilt-era Scott Walker. The uncompromising and despair-ridden Concept Unification arrived in 2019.
