Producer TM88 helped define the sound of Atlanta trap in the 2010s, working with Gucci Mane and Young Thug before making atmospheric crossover hits like Lil Uzi Vert’s “XO Tour Llif3.”
• TM88 is a member of the 808 Mafia, a production and songwriting team founded by Lex Luger and Southside.
• After a few years of doing solo production work for Atlanta artists like Gucci Mane, Future, and Young Thug, TM88 linked up with Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa for the album TGOD Mafia: Rude Awakening in 2016.
• His biggest hit to date is Lil Uzi Vert’s 2017 emo-rap smash “XO Tour Llif3,” coproduced with JW Lucas. The track peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has gone platinum seven times.
