About Sorten Muld
Combining traditional Scandinavian folk music with contemporary electronic beats, the Danish trio Sorten Muld comprised Ulla Bendixen, Martin Døssing Ottosen and Henrik Esben Munch. Debuting in 1996 with a self-titled LP, a year later the group returned with Mark II, a hugely successful effort which earned no less than eight Danish Grammy nominations. III followed five years later. ~ Jason Ankeny
