About Pama International
Self-described "dub-fueled ska rocksteady and reggae" crew Pama International are made up of former members of such illustrious acts as Special Beat, the Specials, Madness, Steel Pulse, and Pop Will Eat Itself. The band has released its work on Jamdown, and made appearances at Glastonbury and other festivals. The band released its first American full-length, Float Like a Butterfly, in 2005, the same year that it released the well-received EP Dubstore Special in the U.K. In 2006, Pama International signed to the legendary Trojan reggae label; the resulting release, Trojan Sessions, was issued that year. Pama International followed that up with 2008's Love Filled Dub Band. ~ Chris True
