Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest memory as a violinist is performing in front of about 500 people when I was only 5 years old. I remember my teacher told me "just imagine it's a field of cabbages" so I wouldn't get too nervous about all these people in the audience haha!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Barbra Streisand, Yentl John Williams, Schindler's List (Original Motion Picture Score) Soundtrack from the Motion Picture Joni Mitchell, Travelogue These albums are so rich in emotions and storytelling and the music composed and arranged in the most masterful way by some of the greatest composers and songwriters of all times. Joni and Barbra are also amongst my favorite singers.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Arrival of the Princess (Baroque)” I composed the album "Queen of Hearts" inspired by Bridgerton and had the dream to have my music on the next season. After months of research and pitching, I had the immense joy of having it featured on a major ballroom scene of the Season 2 Finale.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments in my career was performing at Rose Hall with Ted Nash, Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. I performed Chagall from "Portrait in Seven Shades" which we recorded a few months before the concert.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? One of my dreams would be to record a large symphonic concert with U2 with me co-composing and arranging for the orchestra and be guest violinist on the show. We can dream, right? :)
