In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I took my first music lesson at 8 years old, and by 10 I was practicing to songs I taped off the radio. The feeling of hearing something and being able to duplicate it myself was indescribable. I knew right then I was hooked for life. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Elliott Smith, Figure 8
Spoon, Lucifer On the Sofa
The Killers, Hot Fuss
I cheated a little bit. I think that these are the albums that sound like we do if you combine them all together. It may not make sense at first glance, but it's as close as I can get to describing what we sound like to people. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Scene Famous”
This song is about the people who fall into the "big fish in a small pond" mentality in their local music scene. The song itself loud, brash, and fun, like the local scene we love so much. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Our EP release show was held at a large venue that usually hosts national touring shows. Everything about that day, from sound check to production value to the huge crowd, made it feel like we were legit. Even if it was just for a day. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Release our first LP in 2023, as it's been in the works for a few years. There's also a big venue in our area that we're finally getting to play in 2023. And our LP release show is shaping up to be one for the ages!
