Jamie O'Neal is a country artist with a rich, soaring voice that is a great vehicle for her songs, which blend pop polish with down-to-earth Nashville storytelling about broken hearts and resilience. She first struck Music City gold as a sought-after songwriter; it was only later that her own singing career blossomed. O'Neal started strong with 2000's Shiver, which included two major hits, "There Is No Arizona" and "When I Think About Angels." She boosted the pop accents in her songs on 2004's Brave, and after difficult relationships with major labels, she found a home in Nashville's indie community with 2014's Eternal, 2020's Sometimes, and 2026's Gypsum.
