Klub des Loosers: Influences
Artist Biography
Versailles, France-based masked rapper Fuzati conceived of Klub des Loosers in the early 2000s. First with DJ Orgasmic and then with DJ Detect on turntables and production, Fuzati invented his own romantic-suicidal teenage misanthropic kind of hip-hop. On Vive la Vie, Klub des Looser's uncompromising 2004 full-length debut, Fuzati spit hateful rhymes about his own failures, hatred toward all men and women (especially), and Versailles social pressure issues. After 2010's instrumental offering Spring Tales, Klub des Loosers returned with their first conventional studio effort in eight years, 2012's Fin de l'Espèce, in which Fuzati continued to provide an antidote to the macho posturing usually associated with the Gallic rap scene on 13 socially conscious, humorous, and self-mocking tracks. ~ Olivier Duboc & Jon O'Brien
