About Diana Navarro
Born in Malaga, Spain, in the Andalusian province where flamenco originated, singer Diana Navarro grew up in a household where music was a daily part of life. After spending many years singing and working, she released her debut solo full-length, No Te Olvides de Mí, in 2005. Blending flamenco, Northern African and Middle Eastern music, worldbeat, and pop, the album made her a favorite in her homeland and earned a Latin Grammy nomination. In the years that followed, Navarro reached beyond flamenco to became one of the country's most popular copla singers. ~ Marisa Brown
