Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was five years old when I saw the Beatles live on the Ed Sullivan Show. Seeing and hearing that influenced me deeply. It was all I wanted to listen to and I had to have a guitar. And when I got one I did not stop playing.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? The Beatles, Abbey Road (Super Deluxe Edition) 2019 Remix & Remaster XTC, Nonsuch XTC, Oranges & Lemons Abbey Road because it was the Beatles at their best., and I love the outtakes in the Deluxe Edition. Oranges & Lemons because Any Partridge is a genius songwriter. You can't beat The Mayor of Simpleton. Nonsuch for the same reason.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “New Face on the World” I wrote "New Face" the day my daughter was born. I was trying to accurately describe the feeling of becoming a father for the first time. I don't know that it is the best song I've ever written, but it means a lot to me and I play it at every show.
