Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Getting into Led Zeppelin and The Doors was a big deal. I had this record too... It was called "heavy metal" and had stuff like MC5, Alice Cooper, Golden Earring, Sabbath (to name a few) on it. It was at this point that I knew I wanted to rock!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Arizona Amp and Alternator, Arizona Amp and Alternator Joe Peña, Dust of Our Love Tom Waits, Small Change Small change is perfect storyteller with a real cool vibe. Arizona Amp and Alternator is Howe Gelb. The impact of this guys sound is far reaching. Joe Pena is probably one of the best storytellers. All of these have so much soul.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Appearing on author Warren Ellis Mixtape. Battery Operated Heart was the song. He really liked it and it really made me feel credible as an artist.
