Artist Biography
Gianmarco Marcello was born in Milan in December 1986. Enthusiastic about rap from the age of 13, Marcello chose the MC name Mondo Marcio. He presented his demo to various independent labels. His debut record Mondo Marcio and an appearance on mixtape Fuori Di Qua were not far behind. Mondo Marcio was presented with an offer from EMI/Virgin toward the end of 2005, resulting in Solo un Uomo (2006). Fueled by singles like "Dentro alla Scatola," the album stayed in the Italian charts for weeks, going gold within the year. His second release with the label, Generazione X, was released in 2007.
