About Allister Bradley
Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was about four years old when my parents bought an organ for my Nana to play. I was fascinated, and it wasn't long before I was using it to play the melodies that I heard on the radio. I couldn't take lessons until my feet could reach the pedals.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Billy Joel, The Stranger (Remastered) Sting, Ten Summoner's Tales Remastered Supertramp, Crime of the Century Remastered I could listen to these albums on repeat for days. The musicality, the creativity, and the storytelling. Nothing pretentious, nothing egotistical, just honest songwriting meant to take me somewhere in my imagination.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Goodbye, Bedford Falls” This song is my homage to my grandfather, who volunteered and died in service to his country in World War II. I don't believe we should have to settle conflicts militarily but I know that sometimes there's a place and a people worth sacrificing for.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? A school choirmaster in England contacted me for permission to teach his choir my Christmas song for their Christmas vigil. It's special enough for my houseful of Christmas guests to sing the song, but a choir of strangers across the ocean? Cool.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The best song I've ever written will always be one that I have yet to write. Every new song is an adventure in building something deeper and more meaningful than the last. I want to keep writing until I can't write anymore.
