About Helen Ganya
Based in Brighton, U.K., Helen Ganya combines deep introspection and sociopolitical observances with a captivating fusion of dream pop, angular indie electronica, and traditional Thai music. She navigated all but the Thai influence on her earliest releases, including 2017's Consume Me and 2019's more atmospheric Vanishing Lands, her Bella Union debut. Ganya followed her shimmery third album, polish the machine, with 2024's Share You Care, her first release to incorporate traditional Thai instruments like ranat ek, the two-stringed saw duang, and pi (Thai oboe), to striking effect.
