∙ Pop star Solange asked her friend Sumney to sing backup on “Mad (feat. Lil Wayne),” from her 2016 album, A Seat at the Table.
∙ The 2017 debut Aromanticism and 2020’s græ were both included in year-end “best of” lists by Pitchfork, NPR, and The New York Times.
