Singer-songwriter Niko Moon spent several years penning pop-flavored country hits for other artists before dropping his own EP, the genre-bending GOOD TIME, in 2020.
∙ He’s written dozens of songs for the Zac Brown Band, including the Grammy-nominated “My Old Man” and the No. 1 hard rock hit “Heavy Is the Head,” featuring vocals from Chris Cornell.
∙ Brown tapped Moon for the EDM-influenced side-project Sir Rosevelt in 2016, and their debut single, “Sunday Finest,” was cowritten and produced by pop hitmaker Pharrell Williams.
∙ Moon’s kaleidoscopic musical interests have led to hits for such diverse artists as Rascal Flatts (the Top 20 country tearjerker “Back to Life”) and Avicii (the dance smash “Broken Arrows”).
∙ His work on Michael Franti & Spearhead’s uplifting 2019 album, Stay Human, Vol. 2, inspired Moon’s first solo hit, the Gold-certified “GOOD TIME,” which has more than 7 million views.
