About Reaping Asmodeia
Reaping Asmodeia is as deathcore as it comes: complex, precise riffs underscoring unyielding vocal roars that, beneath their artifice, weave stories of nihilism and even ruminations on dream logic. Formed in Minneapolis, the group emerged from the local deathcore scene and established themselves with the EP The Moribund Resurrection (2013) and their full-length debut, Poison of the Earth. The band issued their breakthrough release Impuritize, featuring the hard-hitting "Of Talons and Teeth," in 2017. A black metal-influenced direction took shape on Darkened Infinity (2021), expanding their sonic palette. This was followed by an intended trilogy of singles released across 2024 and 2025, including "Shattered Leviathan" and "Sanctuary of Poison." In 2026, Poison of the Earth and the Indwelling EP were reissued together as a deluxe compilation.
