Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Zusha was formed in 2013 when Shlomo Gaisin and Zachariah Goldschmiedt met for the first time in the East Village of NYC. During their first meeting, they discovered their shared love for soulful music and began to improvise together.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bon Iver, For Emma, Forever Ago Ratatat, Ratatat Shlomo Carlebach, At the Village Gate Bon Iver is a favorite for his raw and emotional quality. Shlomo Carlebach is beloved for his infectious energy and joy that connects us to something deeper. Ratatat for their unique sound blending elements of real and electronic instrumentation.

What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We played a private concert for a woman who was paralyzed but for her eyes. We sang our hearts out and felt a deep connection on a soul level with her, making it an unforgettable experience for us.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We are dreamers, the descendents of dreamers. We are just getting started....
