Brandishing a high-octane twang in her voice and pledging allegiance to traditional country, Kylie Frey's first big break arrived when she appeared as Shania Twain's protégée on the first season of the USA Network's Real Country in 2018. Frey used this exposure to pivot onto the Red Dirt country circuit that ran through Texas, earning such indie hits in the Lone Star State as 2018's "Ain't Enough Beer," 2019's "One Night in Tulsa," the Randy Houser duet "Horses in Heaven" in 2021, a version of Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" in 2022, and "Red Dirt Cinderella" in 2023.
