In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad is really into music, and I took on a lot of his tastes. My mam played accordion until she was about 14, but that’s all. I first picked up a guitar at seven, claiming my sister’s Christmas present after she abandoned it.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? ESG, Come Away with ESG James Chance, The Contortions, James Chance & The Contortions - February 4,1978@CBGB's (NYC) Talking Heads, Talking Heads: 77 These are my musical DNA, the albums from artists who have influenced me more than any other. They are from the time in the late 70s and early '80s of no wave and punk that is my major inspiration.
