Gryffin is an American DJ, producer, and songwriter known for remixing pop hits and for his own melodic dance tunes created in collaboration with numerous artists.
∙ A classical pianist and rock guitarist, he earned an electrical engineering degree from the University of Southern California before focusing on music production.
∙ Gryffin first got attention in 2015 with remixes of popular songs, including Maroon 5’s “Animals” and Tove Lo’s “Talking Body.”
∙ In 2016, his first two singles—“Heading Home” and “Whole Heart”—launched a string of 15 consecutive hits on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
∙ He rose to No. 1 on the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart with his 2019 debut LP, Gravity, which also broke into the Billboard 200.
