In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I took piano lessons with Ruth Ann Peters starting around 3rd grade. She showed me how to improvise playing only white keys while she played in the key of C and it blew my mind and surely influenced my songwriting and melodies. She was rad. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Alison Krauss, Robert Plant, Raising Sand
George Harrison, All Things Must Pass (2014 Remaster)
Mitski, Be the Cowboy
I love the way Alison Krauss' and Robert Plant's voices melt together, the range of genre and hypnotic melody.
All Thing Must Pass opens my heart and is timelessly transcendent.
Be The Cowboy is hauntingly cathartic and intense in the best way.

“Front Porch”
This song captures a vibe in our music that occasionally emerges. The wistful, dark lounge, sad, and sexy. I love to sing it and love how Jeff's guitar sounds. It's like Portishead meets Nancy Sinatra with a little Mitski. It reminds me to slow down. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Sharing the stage with Mariee Siou and Diane Cluck, two of our favorite contemporary songwriters, at Women of Folk, a festival we independently produced. It felt like a dream to have them there and sing on the same stage. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
For sure. To have a full stage production with lighting and choreography. To play Red Rocks, Newport Folk and The Ryman - some of our favorite venues. And to collaborate with a whole list of artists we love.
