About Russell Taylor
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
My first memory of the power of music was when I was a young boy.
I remember my Mom singing to me "Ever I Saw Your Face" by Roberta Flack while the record played.
I knew then I wanted to sing.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Donny Hathaway, Donny Hathaway - Live
Erykah Badu, Mama's Gun
Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life
This is torture to choose just three!
I mean, STEVIE- THIS RECORD IS LITERATURE, CANON EVEN IN ALBUM FORM--and an outstanding work of art that transcends time.
As. AS!
Mama's Gun is my youth's SITKOL. Classic.
A Master Class in singing!

“Dance with Somebody”
I took a chance at performing an iconic song, and I am happy with how it landed.
I just love performing this song too.
A beautiful song and a moody arrangement.
