Artist Biography
A self-taught musician, Bryan “Brytiago” Santiago was influenced by the sounds of reggaeton standard-bearers Don Omar, De La Ghetto, Arcángel, and Jowell & Randy.
∙ While growing up in Puerto Rico, Brytiago showed an interest in music, but he also dreamed of becoming a pilot.
∙ At age eight, he took a photo with his hero, Daddy Yankee. Fifteen years later, Brytiago signed to the reggaeton pioneer’s El Cartel Records.
∙ He earned a place in history with his performance on Daddy Yankee’s single “Alerta Roja,” which featured a record 17 vocal guest spots.
∙ In 2018, his remix of the single “Asesina”—featuring Darell, Daddy Yankee, Ozuna, and Anuel AA—went four-times Platinum while cracking the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart.
∙ A popular presence on social media, Brytiago in 2019 had the honor of becoming the first reggaetonero to grace a New York Fashion Week runway.
