About Gulfer
Hailing from Montreal, Gulfer combines emo-punk, math rock, grunge, and shoegaze elements with explosive musicianship and vulnerable lyrics. The band issued a pair of splits and an EP before unveiling their full-length debut, What Gives, in 2015. The LP caught the attention of Top Shelf Records, which enthusiastically added the group to its roster ahead of the release of 2018's Dog Bless. Gulfer continued to hone their technical acumen on their eponymous third LP, released in 2020. Four years later, the band issued Third Wind, their fourth and final long-player, having announced earlier that year that they would be disbanding after its release.
