About Suzan & Freek
The engaging pop melodies and easy harmonies of Suzan & Freek galvanized listeners in their native Netherlands. They placed a brace of singles, including 2018’s chart-topping debut “Als het avond is,” in the Top Ten at home, and were credited with inspiring a wave of other Dutch-language singles to float toward the upper reaches of the charts. Their popularity is fueled in part by the intriguing story behind the scenes as school sweethearts whose love story weaves triumph and tragedy in equal measure.
