About The Blinders
Inspired by the likes of Bob Dylan, Iggy Pop, and Nick Cave, the Blinders are an alternative rock group originally from Doncaster, U.K. Made up of vocalist/guitarist Thomas Haywood, bass guitarist Charlie McGough, and drummer Matthew Neale, the trio came together in 2014 and formed the band while studying at Manchester University. They spent 2015 writing, recording, and simultaneously performing on the local gig circuit, and quickly earned a reputation for their high-octane energy, politically driven lyrics, and in-your-face punk attitude, which surfaced on their debut EP, 2016's Hidden Horror Dance. Since then, the group have issued three acclaimed studio LPs: 2018's Columbia, 2020's Fantasies of a Stay at Home Psychopath, and 2024's Beholder, alongside a series of further EPs and live albums.
