About 1073
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up across the street from a garage band. Hearing them play “Wasted Years” by Iron Maiden made me want to play. Around 12, I began playing guitar and making rudimentary remixes using two tape recorders. The need to create was always in me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? The Cure, Bloodflowers The Cure, Disintegration (Deluxe Edition - Remastered) The Cure, Seventeen Seconds Whenever I listen to this band, I am taken back to when I first saw the video for "A Forest". This band opened my eyes to newer, more profound possibilities in music. Each of these albums is a beautiful wall of dark sound. Easily my biggest influence
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hold Me (Original Vocal Mix)” I wrote this song in 2001 as an anniversary gift for my wife and released it for streaming. It was rough, a demo really. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2001, I was playing guitar in an earlier band called twilight Project, we opened for the Crüxshadows for a club show in El Paso, TX. That evening, our lead singer Nothing X almost knocked himself out with our Shure 55 mic. A very dynamic frontman
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would eventually like to have music on a film soundtrack or even do a score for a movie. I feel like the two mediums are interconnected in how they shape a person's experience of a moment at any place and time.
