Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Sho Baraka was raised by activist who introduced them to poetry and literature at a young age. As a young man, along with Hip Hop, he wrote poetry and stories as he was influenced by the Harlem Renaissance.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Common, One Day It'll All Make Sense Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill The Cross Movement, Heaven's Mentality These album were formative in shaping Sho as a thinker and artist. These extraordinary work's speak to his faith, creativity and social consciousness.

What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Sho has performed in close to 20 different countries. His music has also allowed him the opportunity to become a professor which gives him the opportunity to use his talent and time to enlighten the culture.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Sho Baraka would love to record a live album with an orchestra.
