Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Not too long after releasing my first project "Raign", I was booked to perform at the Black Women's Expo in both Chicago and Atlanta back in 2018. The largest crowds I've ever performed in front of!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Aaliyah, One In A Million Ari Lennox, age/sex/location Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city (Deluxe Version) Little to NO skips! I appreciate all of the vibes and the creativity on each project.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Win Win (feat. Naomi G)” Win Win was created on the spot while listening to this instrumental for the first time. I was riding the Green line on my way to work when this happened. I knew it was an instant hit especially after NaomiG did her big one on the background vocals!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? After graduating from Twista's MAPS4Music Program, Twista himself pulled me to the side and told me how dope I was and to keep going. One of the greatest feelings in the world!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want a sold out show where everyone knows the lyrics to every single song on the set list. I need that!
