Bronx-born rapper 645AR distinguished himself from a crowded hip-hop field with a distinctive squeaky flow on hits like 2019’s “Bible And A K.”
• As a child in the Bronx, 645AR discovered a dead body in his apartment building lobby. The horrific experience prompted the boy’s mother to relocate the family to Florida and later Atlanta.
• His stage name combines his childhood street address—on Jackson Avenue in the Bronx—with his initials.
• In Atlanta, he spent his teens running in circles with Lil Yachty and Rich Homie Quan.
• After a few songs, 645AR experimented with his now-signature squeaky-voiced delivery on 2019’s “A Bible and A K.” His next track, “4 Da Trap,” became a breakout hit, earning him a deal with Columbia Records.
