Rapper A-Reece is an esteemed lyricist who has become a standout voice in South Africa’s hip-hop scene. • Rapper A-Reece hails from the South African city Pretoria, in Gauteng. His older brother P-Jay is a member of the hip-hop collective B3nchMarQ. • His stage name is a play on his astrological sign, Aries. • Before signing with Ambitiouz Entertainment, he released the mixtape Forever King in 2013 and the EP Browniez in 2014. • A-Reece released his debut album, Paradise, in 2016. That same year, he won Lyricist of the Year at the South African Hip Hop Awards. • In 2019, he teamed up with producer MashBeatz for the project Reece Effect, featuring rappers from A-Reece’s Wrecking Crew collective.
