In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I still remember nervously singing a song I wrote the night before to my classmates in elementary school. That small moment sparked a big dream I knew music would be my way to express what words alone couldn’t.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? GIGI, Untuk Semua Umur Nirvana, Nevermind Sheila On 7, Kisah Klasik Untuk Masa Depan Nirvana’s Nevermind made me fall in love with raw, honest sound. Sheila on 7’ Kisah Klasik Untuk Masa Depan album captured the spirit of youth. Gigi untuk semua umur taught me how melodies and lyrics can stay timeless across generations.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Putih Biru (Negeri Satu Pagerageung 2009)” “Putih Biru” is special because it captures the memories of school—first love, friendship, and growing up.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments was hearing a student sing my song “Putih Biru” during a school farewell. It reminded me why I write music—to connect hearts, across generations and memories.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’d love to perform “Putih Biru” live with a full orchestra one day. And hopefully, release a concept album that tells a complete story from start to finish—like a soundtrack to someone’s youth.
