Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
That would have to be sitting at the piano with my mom. She was a piano instructor and required that I learn piano. At the time, I wasn't a huge fan but that ended up being the best possible thing she could have done for me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Def Leppard, Hysteria
Mammoth, Mammoth II
Sting, Ten Summoner's Tales
While good writing/construction is subjective, I really value things that required effort and thought when they were put together. These records, while wildly different, are some of my favorite things to listen to and very inspiring for me.

“Breathless (Unplugged)”
This song is special to me because I wrote it about my relationship with my wife. She is a quiet person and often communicates subtly, as well as through writing. I came to really cherish that about her and that is what this song is about.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Currently, the most memorable moment (or group of moments) was my first tour outside the United States. I was working with the Air Force Band at the time and we flew to Chile in South America. I knew right then that touring was what I wanted to do.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Plenty left on my bucket list--while I've toured with other artists and worked as a sideman (and love doing it), I would love to tour on my own music someday. As a sideman, I would love to play for Richard Marx.
