Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I have always been a fan of many musical genre's, but very early on I fell in love with the music of John Williams and Steven Curtis Chapman, as well as Tower of Power, the Manhattan Transfer, Michael Giacchino, and John Powell
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Williams, Star Wars: Attack of the Clones (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Snarky Puppy, We Like It Here Steven Curtis Chapman, Speechless These albums have defined my listening over the years, driving me to expand my instrumental and textural horizons, and what I thought would orchestrate well together

Tell us why you chose this song. “Always Welcome (For Kate)” I wrote Always Welcome for my wife Kate when we started dating. It is evocative, and attempts to capture the boundless joy of being with a partner who knows you well, sees your innermost self, and loves you unconditionally
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Seeing Bellevue Presbyterian Church lead their congregation in worship through my arrangement of In the Bleak Midwinter was a mountain-top experience for me, as my musical goal has always been to bring the wonder of God's creation to others.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I am always looking for ensembles to write for, and new songs and arrangements to stretch the average listener while still meeting them where they are at musically, seeking to bridge the gap between the esoteric and the comfortable.
