Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is singing old worship songs alone in my room as a kid, trying to match the harmonies I heard in church. I didn’t know the meaning yet, but I could feel the presence of God, and that feeling never left.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Charlie Burg, Infinitely Tall Josh Garrels, Love & War & The Sea In Between Kings Kaleidoscope, Zeal I chose these because they shaped how and why I create. Josh Garrels showed me music can be spiritual and poetic. Zeal taught me worship can be raw and experimental. Infinitely Tall made me fall in love with sonic world-building and emotional detail.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career is seeing people truly worship while I lead. When their eyes close, hands lift, and it’s not about me anymore. In that moment, I know I’ve helped bring them closer to God. That’s "iller than a grammy."
