About Aero Chord
Aero Chord is Alex Vlastaras, an EDM producer from Athens, Greece. While often categorized as trap, his work has incorporated numerous other styles, including dubstep, trance, drum'n'bass, moombahton, and hardstyle. His tracks are dramatic, adventurous, and cinematic, with a bit of a nostalgic, sentimental quality. Inspired by a cousin who produced Goa and psy-trance, Vlastaras began making music as a teenager using popular music-making program Reason. He first started using the name Aero Chord in 2011, and by 2013 his tracks were being released by well-known Canadian EDM label Monstercat. Numerous singles and remixes on the label followed, as well as 2014 EP New Breed Part 1 on High Intensity Records. Vlastaras performed at EDM festivals such as Spring Awakening and Carnival of Bass, and began his first North American tour in June of 2015. EP Love & Hate arrived on Monstercat in 2016. ~ Paul Simpson
