Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was in my early teens, I had the opportunity to hear Dan Forrest's Requiem for the Living performed live. I had loved film music for a long time, and that concert was when I realized that there was other epic-sounding music out there.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Andrew Peterson, After All These Years: A Collection The Arcadian Wild, The Arcadian Wild The High Kings, Decade: Best of the High Kings After All These Years was my first introduction to Andrew Peterson's music, and left a lasting impact on my life and musical style. I also enjoy the Celtic music of The High Kings, and the folk style of The Arcadian Wild.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Weather the Storm” Weather the Storm was written not long after some family friends lost one of their daughters to cancer. The song is both an acknowledgment of the hardships of the Christian life, and an expression of trust in the Lord.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career was when I was playing one of my first songs...My dad came into the room and asked if it was an Andrew Peterson song. I look up to Peterson a lot as an artist, so that was a huge compliment for me!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to go on tour at some point! Also, I'd like to release an album in collaboration with other young Christian artists.
