Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a kid, I remember singing The Middle by Jimmy Eat World at my community dance night in front of the whole school. It was the first time I ever performed music like that in front of audience, it was so nerve wracking!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? CHVRCHES, Screen Violence Kacey Musgraves, Golden Hour Neck Deep, All Distortions Are Intentional This is such a tough question because I love SO MANY. However, when I think about the albums that inspired my music the most, it is these three. I always revisit these albums when I am having a rough day. I hope that one day I can make art like this.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Whoever's Plan” I wrote "Whoever's Plan" in a single session one night in a hotel in Seattle. I was struggling with a lot of existential dread at the time, and so this song basically wrote itself. This song defined my approach to songwriting, so I owe a lot to it.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I kept my music a secret for the first year I was working on it, so finally finishing my first EP and getting to reveal that to people has definitely been a stand out moment for me.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I am a brand-new artist, so there are so many things I look forward to. Live shows are definitely something I am looking forward to this year. After that, I am always writing, so just looking forward to my next project!
