Artist Biography
Before forming the musical duo All Sons & Daughters with David Leonard, Leslie Jordan began leading worship at her church at age 14.
∙ All Sons & Daughters cofounder David Leonard started the Christian pop band Jackson Waters while attending college, and he later toured with Christian rockers NEEDTOBREATHE.
∙ For the album Poets & Saints, the duo traveled to Europe to study the lives of such historical figures as C.S. Lewis and Saint Augustine, searching for untold stories that could connect these individuals to modern believers.
∙ In 2016, Poets & Saints was nominated for two Grammy Awards.
∙ “Called Me Higher,” from The Longing No. 3 - EP, was originally intended for another artist, but producer Paul Brendon Mabury heard All Sons & Daughters’ demo version and insisted they record it.
∙ All Sons & Daughters adapted unfinished lyrics from prolific hymn writer Fanny Crosby for the call-to-worship ballad “We Are Waiting.”
