In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. all of started really early in music. a very young age we have grown to love music and we think that became the main force behind us aligning as a group. Finally getting to debut together as ALPHA was the icing on the cake.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? BIGBANG, MADE Justin Bieber, SWAG One Direction, Up All Night Big Bang are one of our influences when we started. MADE was an album that really shows their ascension as Kpop Idols. But we all grew up and listened to One Direction and Justin Bieber as our main pop music reference and that really united us.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “P Ramlee Saloma” When we recorded this song, we had no expectations. It was another ballad to us. But, when it was released, the support was overwhelming. It became some sort of anthem and we were introduced to a whole new audience which we are really grateful for.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Debuting as ALPHA is the most memorable moment for us. We did not expect the seven of us could became something. And being part of ALPHA really paved the way for us to be the artist that we always wanted.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We would love to collaborate with regional talents across SEA.This gives us the chance to introduce MPOP to whole new set of fans. We want everyone to experience MPOP and we are really looking forward to be the ambassador that shares it to the world
