Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Dad first taught me music by ear—toddler me in the lounge, big headphones, “Learn this”: Rubber Ducky. Later, at Gran’s farm near Moree, I learnt Lara’s Theme the same way in her “good room”, practising beneath the chimes of the grandfather clock.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Joni Mitchell, Hejira Kate Bush, The Sensual World (2018 Remaster) Sarah Vaughan, Sarah Vaughan with Michael LeGrand Kate Bush’s The Sensual World is lush and fearless; Joni Mitchell’s Hejira is open, searching and hypnotic; and Sarah Vaughan with Michel Legrand is timeless elegance. Three albums that shaped how I hear beauty, collaboration and great songwriting.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Don't Grow Up So Fast” ‘Don’t Grow Up So Fast’ is special to me because it’s about my daughter, written when she was eager to be grown up—make-up and high heels calling. It struck me how adults envy a child’s wonder, while children so often want to grow up too soon.
