About Anchor End
Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My parents took me to see James Taylor as a kid, which was my first concert. My friend's mom took us to our first pop punk show to see Less Than Jake, New Found Glory, and Good Charlotte.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Propagandhi, Supporting Caste Saves The Day, Through Being Cool The Flatliners, Cavalcade Truly an impossible question! Through Being Cool represents to me what a band is. Cavalcade solidified my love for punk music. Supporting Caste is a masterpiece from front to back and solidified Propagandhi as my favorite band of all time.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Fall” Once I made the decision to write an album, 'The Fall' was the first song written with the mindset of being a singer-songwriter, and intended to unify my work into a cohesive album. It felt natural to be writing and producing music.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I opened for an artist I look up to, Trever Keith of Face To Face. No one knew who I was, but as is typical of most punk shows, they were legitimately interested in the music and watched and listened closely. A reminder why I love punk rock shows.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to tour. I love to perform and travel. I'm always excited to see a punk show where the opening support is an acoustic artist. I'd play a coffee shop during the day, concert in the evening, and jam some covers at the bar later that night.
