Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My elementary school was broken into two, K-2 and 3-6. Every year or so the older kids would come to play in the school band or sing in the choir for us. I'd watch and always look forward to growing up and learning an instrument and singing.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Mayer, Born and Raised John Mayer, Where the Light Is: John Mayer Live in Los Angeles Mac Miller, Swimming "Swimming" is tragically beautiful Both Mayer albums got me through my treatment, whether I was imagining myself playing some guitar solo off of "Where The Light Is" or feeling for once like I wasn't alone when listening to "Born and Raised".
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Fate” This song, lyrically, is one of the first times I was able to really illicit how I felt emotionally in a track. Sonically, I had such a blast moving away from strictly acoustic recordings and feeling like the track was properly "finished".
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Becoming more active with the Make-A-Wish foundation has been incredibly fulfilling. I started at the Massachusetts branch, and the speech/performance of my songs has led to help raise millions of dollars for more wishes nationwide.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to put out a true full-length album someday soon. I enjoy the model of releasing singles and EPs, but I grew up listening to 10-12 song projects that together really express a concept. Feels like a challenge, but an exciting one.
