About Aneea
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One of my earliest musical memories is standing in front of the television, completely mesmerized by Michael Jackson, copying every move I could catch while singing at the top of my lungs.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Björk, Homogenic
I love how fearless this record is. It’s raw, futuristic, emotional and completely its own world — proof that you don’t have to choose between vulnerability and experimentation.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Finding out that the official Guinness World Record high score in Just Dance 4 was achieved on the routine for my song “Crazy Little Thing” - I never imagined a song I had written and performed could become part of a moment in gaming history.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I’ve always dreamed of creating a performance that brings together everything I love about music, storytelling, visuals and technology, and sharing it with millions of people from a stage where cultures come together. Like in Eurovision.
