In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is recording a demo of covers and giving it to my dad. When “Fallin’” by Alicia Keys played, he left the room. I later learned he went to the bathroom to cry because he was so moved.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Amaarae, Fountain Baby DLG, Lo Esencial: DLG Sade, The Best of Sade (Remaster) Fountain Baby: Provocative, smart blend of Afro, pop, and punk. The Best of Sade: Timeless, sophisticated, unforgettable music. Lo Esencial, DLG: Nostalgic salsa-pop that energizes and brings back fun childhood memories.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Good to Be Alive” Good to Be Alive: I love this song for its soulful R&B mix with a hint of reggae. The saxophone and vocals blend beautifully. It’s especially meaningful to me as I wrote it to ease people’s everyday struggles and bring comfort and positivity.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment in my career so far has been my collaboration with Frankie J. I used to watch Frankie and Baby Bash on MTV back in Sweden, and then, years later, recording with Frankie J was a dream come true.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is so much more on the bucket list! More music, more action and more fun!
