In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was simply going to church with my mom and watching the drummer play. My mom always used to say that I was a very “impulsive” child and that loved to touch/hit things lol. So maybe that’s what drew me to the drums.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Buju Banton, 'Til Shiloh (25th Anniversary Edition) Papa San, God & I Tye Tribbett & G.A., Life I come from a Jamaican background. So i’ve been exposed to a lot of Reggae growing up. Tye Tribbett’s first album (Life) was a game changer in the Gospel world, in my opinion. Same opinion for Papa San, just in the (Reggae Gospel) world.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Humpty” Everyone knows the original nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty and how embedded that song is in the back of our minds. My version “Humpty” is special because I figured out how to give him more meaning and purpose by making his story a Gospel song.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Every time I begin the creating process all over again. The trans & realm that I go into is very freeing and fun, just to see what I come up with this time.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Not yet. I haven’t even scratched the surface of what I want yet, but I believe in my God given abilities.
