In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first public performance was written about in The Evening News, Perth Amboy, New Jersey (USA) on February 16, 1963. I was seven years old and performed Chopin: Prelude Op. 28, No. 7 at Samsel Elementary School in Sayreville, New Jersey (USA.)
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alice Sara Ott, Nightfall Vladimir Horowitz, Beethoven: Piano Sonatas "Moonlight" "Pathetique" "Appassionata" YUNDI, Chopin: Nocturnes I feel Sara Ott creates a relaxed ambience, Yundi Li represents a unique tone color, and finally Vladimir Horowitz displays such a great dynamic intpretation.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Infinite Light” I had the experience of knowing two people in different monumental times of my life. One was obsessed with infinity and one was obsessed with light. Both their obsessions inspired me to compose "Infinite Light."
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I can remember when I was 13 years old I did a solo piano performance at Sayreville Junior High School's Spring Concert. The piece I performed was called Ritual Fire Dance. The composer was Manuel de Falla. I received a standing ovation.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to perform my music at The Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College, which is a performing Arts Theater in Wilmington, North Carolina (USA.) My musical compositions are composed in the same city. This would make it a special concert.
