In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Music has been part of me for as long as I remember. My parents aren’t musicians, but they supported me when I got lost in music. I had a great music teacher in school, and my grandma, once a silent cinema pianist, taught me piano.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Björk, Debut Tori Amos, Under the Pink U2, The Joshua Tree Remastered These albums had a massive impact. Tori Amos and Björk opened a world where women could express raw emotion, power, and sadness, while Sting’s vocals, compositions, and genre-bending courage inspired me at lot.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Coming Alive” This song is a symbol of my return to music. It is special for me because it lives between genres - just like some of my favorite artists.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing on one of the large stages on Roskilde Festival i Denmark.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’d like my music to challenge the focus on image and genre. Artists with something real to say should be heard.
